An appeal is made to all the members of the Institution
of Engineers(India) in particular and the public in general
to subscribe their views, suggestions etc on collecting authenticated
details/documents about Sir.M.Visvesvaraya. These details
could be books, letters, paper reports, old official records
containing references on Sir.M.V's Life , achievements, speeches,
memorabilia, reminiscence of his colleagues and contemporaries
with whom he was associated . These significant details throwing
light on his resplendent persona might have been collected
by persons who were working during his period of service and
now possessed by his descendants etc We would be grateful
if any information on the availability such details could
be intimated /informed to the Hon.Secretary , Institution
of Engineers(India), Mysore Local Centre, J.L.B.Road, Mysore
- 570 005, to take further needful action in collecting the
details by approaching the individual person concerned personally
and officially acknowledging the documents / articles with
thanks, duly intimating the noble purpose of exhibiting the
same at SIR.M.V.STUDY CENTRE at the premises of The Institution
